Turkey Trot organizers note there will be no-same day registration available, so sign up now.
Registration is underway for Carson City's ultimate family fitness event and healthy warmup before Thanksgiving family feasts with the annual 5K and 8K Turkey Trot walk/run and the Gobble Wobble Kids Fun Run at the Nevada Governor's Mansion.
After having the 2020 event virtually due to COVID-19, this annual event hosted by St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School returns for 2021, giving participants a chance to build up their appetites and metabolism ahead of Thanksgiving dinner and football games later in the day.
Event shirts are available for all participants. Organizers note, however, that there will be no-same day registration available, so sign up now. Go here to register.
Pumpkin pies and medals will be given to the top three finishers for each race.
